Mrs. Anja Walentik: My name is Anja Walentik. I grew up in Columbia and graduated from Rock Bridge High School in 2000. I then majored in Early Education at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. I received my masters in Curriculum Instruction from MU three years ago. I spent a year teaching high school English in Slovakia and a year teaching in Minneapolis before moving back to Columbia to teach at Fairview. This is my ninth year at Fairview and I am grateful to be part of such a strong learning community. I am married to Steve Walentik, who is a sports writer and covers Missouri Basketball. Our son, Benjamin is 3 years old.
